Six Board Chest

These chests have proven themselves to endure more than 300 years. Despite their unusual construction which seems to defy the rules of nature, they survive. The magic ingredients to make this happen are traditionally forged nails. The version below features a separate till, whos lid serves to hold the chests lid open. The lock is salvaged from an aqntique chest, was refurbished and is set to work for another century.

These chests come in various sizes because their major dimensions are driven by the raw material. The widest plank defines the lid size.
